KUIS AI Lab was founded in February 2020 as a joint initiative of Koç University and İş Bankası. The center is envisioned to create the much needed synergy combining the academia with the financial support of İş Bankası. KUIS AI Lab brings together affiliated faculty from multiple disciplines including Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, College of Sciences, College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, as well as faculty from other leading institutions in Turkey including Boğaziçi University and Hacettepe University. The center maintains active collaborations with various industries including Health & Pharmaceuticals, Defense & Security, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Retail Services, Banking, Finance & Fintech and Telecommunication.
